In this booklet Hagin mentions how many times people become healed miraculously by the Holy Spirit, but then the health problem returns because they didn't have enough faith to keep the healing.To keep the healing you need to develop your own faith in the healing.
f the Word of God has been built into your spirit - if you've meditated on it long enough, fed on it, and put it into your spirit until you know it has become a part of your inner consciousness, then you can stand your ground in faith and keep your healing.
He suggests that when you get the healing, if negative thoughts creep up, you say something along the lines, "Doubt, I resist you, I refuse to doubt." or "Fear I resist you, I refuse to fear." If sickness comes, speak to it and say "Sickness, I refuse to be sick. I refuse sickness. I resist you in Jesus' Name. You must go." And it will leave.
Sometimes people go around believing that God put sickness on them, but as Hagin points in one of his books, Jesus didn't go around giving sickness to people, he was only healing people. Sickness is not of God. Sickness does not come from heaven. Sickness is not a blessing.
Hagin suggests the following confession:
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I exercise authority over this body of mine.
Sickness and disease I refuse to allow you to stay.
This body, this house, belongs to God.
It is a temple of God.
Spirit of infirmity get out, leave my body.
I've got authority over you.
I hold fast to what I have.
I'm keeping my healing.

For anyone who has received faith healing please make sure that you read this book to retain the wonderful blessing that you have received. It is essential to hold on to that, and it requires a small effort from you otherwise you will be disappointed.
While it is common sense, it is a lesson which is certainly worthwhile, and for those who do know about it, it would be good to reinforce that knowledge anyway, although it really is so simple. A very enjoyable book.
My ears were healed at an evangelical meeting several weeks ago and the devil tried to tell me that my ears were no longer healed...I resisted like Ken Hagin teaches, and glory to God, I am still healed...God,s Word works, friends.
I have several books by Kenneth Hagin and this booklet is a great summary on the scriptures and confessions for healing that appear in his larger writings on the topic. In addition, I find the Dodie Osteen "Healed of Cancer" and the Charles Capps CD "God's creative power for healing" (also purchased from ) to be very helpful. These 3 items, rotated through regularly are a real blessing to me. In "how to keep your healing" the topics covered are
1. How to Be Healed
2. What to do when symptoms return
3. Why faith is important
4. How to resist the devil
This easy to carry with booklet, ends with a confession to say daily to help keep the principles in your spirit.
Kenneth E. Hagin is a very good and able teacher of the Word of God. Here he is teaching How To Keep Your Healing. His writing is based on scripture from the Bible and he presents it in easily understood language. I found it to be a treasure trove of information. This book will be a very good addition to your study books.
