I have made available all the information that you will need to get started with organic gardening in a simple and easy to read manner. First and foremost, if you are distracted or annoyed by any of the following:- horrible sentence structure
- use of non-words
- lack of proper punctuation
- misspelled words
- omitted words
- contradictions
etc., etc., etc.; don't raise your blood pressure by reading this one.
Honestly, is proofing and editing a book unheard of these days?
This book uses common knowledge as a way to add pages, and the author goes into very little detail concerning the actual organic gardening process. She gives confusing information such as (paraphrasing here for brevity) her suggestion to spread a "couple of inches of compost" over vacant beds and then states, in the same sentence, "preferably 1/2 inches". Sooo, which is it, a couple (which is usually equated to "two") or 1/2, which is a specific amount? Additionally, the book is about organic gardening yet she states that you will occasionally have to resort to using non-organic chemical pesticides. This would immediately make your garden non-organic. Perhaps it is this use of chemical pesticides which causes her soil to be "depraved"...or perhaps that can be attributed to rushing her product to market without the benefit of proofreading or editing (other than possibly using spellcheck).
This one is simply too poorly written and contains too little usable information to be considered worth your while. Two stars at best.

Organic Gardening 101 A Step by Step Beginner Guide to Gardening and Growing Your Own Healthy Organic Produce edition by Barbara Marshall Crafts Hobbies Home eBooks Reviews
I was looking to gain some insight
it had just generic over view material that can be found anywhere
not impressed with overall content
Very informative and interesting !!!
It was just ok I didn't know what I was getting with this one but it was kind of disappointing
This was a free book that was recommended by a book club I follow on FaceBook. Im not sure it is free anymore.
Very basic and not very detailed even for a Beginners Guide. I was expecting a bit more in depth knowledge. I was also disappointed in her suggesting using chemical pesticides... Which makes all your efforts Nonorganic.. Disappointing.
Easy to read and follow. Just right for the beginning gardener, not only in how to get started but also answers the many questions that arise.
Very useful and full of great information. With all the pollution that big business is pumping into the environment this is the way you can make a difference and eat healthier
